This is a joint statement developed by United Bible Societies, Scripture Union International and the British and Foreign Bible Society, in partnership with and facilitated by A Rocha. The statement affirms that care for creation is deeply rooted in Scripture and calls churches to integrate creation care into discipleship, mission, and Bible engagement. The mandate has the potential to bring creation care more fully into the mainstream of Christian teaching, discipleship and mission.
